Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
