To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
