What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 To replace them by (others) better than them. And we are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised - 42 the Day when they shall come forth in haste from their graves, as if racing towards a goal-post, 43 Downcast shall be their looks; abjectness shall overspread them. Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
