Have you not seen that your Lord increases the shadow. Had He wanted He would have made it stationary], and has made the sun their guide. 45 Then We draw it in towards Ourselves,- a contraction by easy stages. 46 And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection. 47 And He it is Who sendeth the winds, glad tidings heralding His mercy, and We send down purifying water from the sky, 48 to revive the barren land and provide water for many creatures, cattle, and people. 49 And We have distributed the (water) amongst them, in order that they may celebrate (our) praises, but most men are averse (to aught) but (rank) ingratitude. 50 Had it been Our will, We could have raised a warner in every village. 51 So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with the Qur'an a great striving. 52 ۞ And it is He who hath mixed the two seas: this, sweet and thirst quenching; that, saltish and bitter; and hath placed between the twain a barrier and a great partition complete. 53 And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation]. 54 Yet they worship besides God that which can neither benefit them nor harm them. One who denies the truth is a helper [of evil] against his Lord. 55 But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition. 56 Say thou: I ask of you no hire for this, save that whosoever will may take unto his Lord a way. 57 Put thy trust in the Living God, the Undying, and proclaim His praise. Sufficiently is He aware of His servants sins 58 He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed. 59 And when it is said to them: "Prostrate to the Most Beneficent (Allah)! They say: "And what is the Most Beneficent? Shall we fall down in prostration to that which you (O Muhammad SAW) command us?" And it increases in them only aversion. ۩ 60
