The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 by a burning fire 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
