And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
