Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 The honourable recorders. 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
