The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
