8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 Again, no indeed, you shall soon know. 4 Nay! if you had known with a certain knowledge, 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
