SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
