It is He who sends down rain from the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it (grows) the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle. 10 Therewith He causeth crops to grow for you, and the olive and the date-palm and grapes and all kinds of fruit. Lo! herein is indeed a portent for people who reflect. 11 And He hath subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Verily therein are signs for a people who understand. 12 And He hath subjected for you whatsoever He hath multiplied for you on the earth of various kinds. Verily therein is a sign for a people who receive admonition. 13 And He it is who hath subjected the sea that ye may eat thereout flesh fresh and bring forth therefrom ornaments that ye wear. And thou beholdest ships ploughing therein, and it is in order that ye may seek of His grace, and that haply ye may give thanks. 14 And he has placed firm mountains on earth, lest it sway with you, and rivers and paths, so that you might find your way, 15 And landmarks (too), and by the star they find a way. 16 IS, THEN, HE who creates comparable to any [being] that cannot create? Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 17 And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 18 God knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. 19 And those they invoke other than Allah create nothing, and they [themselves] are created. 20 they are dead, not living. They do not even know when they will be resurrected. 21
