Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 who show off, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
