Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 is food for the sinner. 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 "Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire." 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 And We have made this Qur'an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
