▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
