Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
