The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
