We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night.
