Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 say [to them], "Wait then: I too am waiting along with you!" -- 31 Does their reason tell them to say this or is it because they are a rebellious people? 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful. 34 Have they not been created by aught, or are they the creators? 35 Created they the heavens and the earth! Aye! they will not be convinced. 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord? Have they any authority over God? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or has He only daughters and ye have sons? 39 Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? 40 Is with them the Unseen, and they write it down! 41 Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! 42 Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 43 Even if they were to see a part of the heavens falling down upon them, they would say, "It is only dense cloud". 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 the day when their guile shall avail them naught, and they shall not be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 and glorify Him after the setting of the stars. 49
