Samood rejected the warning. 23 They said, "Should we follow only one person among us. We shall be clearly in error and in trouble (if we do so). 24 Hath the remembrance been given unto him alone among us? Nay, but he is a rash liar. 25 Ah! they will know on the morrow, which is the liar, the insolent one! 26 Lo! We are sending the she-camel as a test for them; so watch them and have patience; 27 And let them know that the water [of their wells] is to be divided between them, with each share of water equitably apportioned." 28 But they called their companion, and he dared and hamstrung [her]. 29 How (great) was then My punishment and My warning! 30 Indeed, We sent upon them one blast from the sky, and they became like the dry twig fragments of an [animal] pen. 31 And indeed, We have made the Quran easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 32 The people of Lut denied the Noble Messengers. 33 [and so,] behold, We let loose upon them a deadly tempest; and only Lot 's kinsfolk did We save at the break of dawn, 34 as a favour from Us. Thus do We reward those who give thanks. 35 He had warned them of Our might, but they passed over the warnings. 36 And they tried to persuade him regarding his guests – We therefore blinded their eyes, “So taste My punishment, and My warnings.” 37 And at daybreak a determined punishment came upon them. 38 "So taste ye My Wrath and My Warning." 39 We have made the Koran an easy Remembrance, is there any that will remember! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
