The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
