Chaos appears in the land and the sea because of the evil deeds which people’s hands have earned, in order to make them taste the flavour of some of their misdeeds – in order that they may come back. 41 Say, "Journey through the land, and see how those before you met their end -- most of them, ascribed partners with God." 42 So set your face towards the straight path before the day arrives from God which is irreversible. Men will be segregated on that day. 43 He who disbelieves will suffer the consequence of it and he who acts righteously, they will pave the way for their own good 44 So that God may reward those who believed and did what was good, by His grace. Surely He does not love unbelievers. 45 And one of His signs is that He sends forth the winds bearing good news, and that He may make your taste of His mercy, and that the ships may run by His command, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may be grateful. 46 And indeed, [O Muhammad, even] before thee did We send forth apostles - each one unto his own people and they brought them all evidence of the truth: and then, [by causing the believers to triumph,] We inflicted Our retribution upon those who [deliberately] did evil: for We had willed it upon Ourselves to succour the believers. 47 It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice 48 Even though before it was sent down upon them, before that, they were surely despairing. 49 Look then at the effects (results) of Allah's Mercy, how He revives the earth after its death. Verily! That (Allah) Who revived the earth after its death shall indeed raise the dead (on the Day of Resurrection), and He is Able to do all things. 50 And if We sent a wind and they beheld it yellow, they verily would still continue in their disbelief. 51 For surely you cannot, make the dead to hear and you cannot make the deaf to hear the call, when they turn back and 52 Nor canst thou guide the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear save those who believe in Our revelations so that they surrender (unto Him). 53
