Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
