Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
