Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
