▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
