Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 We gave him back his family and doubled their number as a blessing from Us and as a reminder to the people of understanding. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 this is Our provision, unto which there is no end.' 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 Their followers will say, "In fact, it is you who deserve condemnation. It was you who led us to hell, a terrible dwelling". 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?" 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
