Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 “When we are dead and have turned to dust, will we be raised again? That return is impossible!” 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
