Tell them, (O Muhammad): "Who protects you, during the night or the day from the Most Compassionate Lord?" And yet they turn away from the Admonition of their Lord. 42 Or have they aliha (gods) who can guard them from Us? They have no power to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us (i.e. from Our Torment). 43 Yet We bestowed the good things [of life] upon their fathers for a great length of time. But do they not see how We are shrinking their borders? Is it they who will prevail? 44 Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation": But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned! 45 If a blast of the torment of your Lord strikes them, they will say, "Woe to us! We have been unjust people." 46 We shall set up scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection, so that no soul can be in the least wronged. Actions as small as a grain of mustard seed shall be weighed. We are sufficient as a reckoner. 47 And indeed We gave Moosa and Haroon the Judgement* and a light and an advice for the pious. (* The Holy Book Taurat.) 48 Those who fear their Lord without seeing and who apprehend the Last Day. 49 This is a blessed Remembrance which We have sent down. Do you disbelieve it? 50
