Blest be He Who hath placed big stars in the heaven, and hath placed therein a lamp and a moon enlightening. 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 And the bondmen of the Most Gracious who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them they answer, “Peace”. (Good –bye) 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Indeed, it is an evil abode and evil dwelling-place." 66 who when they spend are neither wasteful nor miserly, between that is a just stand, 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 Multiplied for him shall be the torment on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall therein abide disgraced. 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning. 71 (And the servants of the Merciful are those:) who do not bear witness to falsehood and who; if they have ever to pass by what is vain, pass by like dignified people: 72 And they who, when reminded of the communications of their Lord, do not fall down thereat deaf and blind. 73 And who submit, “Our Lord, soothe our eyes with our wives and our children, and make us leaders of the pious.” 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 Abiders therein: excellent it is as an abode and as a station. 76 Say thou: my Lord careth not for you were it not for your prayer; whereas ye have even belied, so presently this denial shall come as the cleaving punishment. 77
