Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people? 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 Let them bring a discourse like thereunto, if they say sooth. 34 Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are overburdened by a debt? 40 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is almost within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 43 If they should see a part of the heavens falling down, they would say, "A mass of clouds," 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 Truly, for those who do wrong there is a punishment besides that, though most of them do not know it. 47 So wait patiently for the Judgement of your Lord -- you are certainly under Our watchful eye. And glorify and celebrate the praises of your Lord when you rise up [from your sleep]. 48 and extol His glory at night, and at the time when the stars retreat. 49
