Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
