The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
