(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
