Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Lo! in the heavens and the earth are portents for believers. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs unto a people who reflect. 5 These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications? 6 Woe to every sinful liar 7 who hears Allah's Signs being rehearsed to him, and yet persists in his pride, as though he had not heard it. Announce to him, then, the tidings of a grievous chastisement. 8 for when he does become aware of any of Our messages, he makes them a target of his mockery! For all such there is shameful suffering in store. 9 Before them is Hell; naught will avail them of that which they earned, nor those whom they took for patrons beside Allah. Theirs shall be a torment mighty. 10 This is guidance. And those who disbelieve the revelations of their Lord, for them there is a painful doom of wrath. 11
