The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the crash? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
