1/4 Hizb 27
< random >
The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
