Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
