With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
