Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
