Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know all that you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 to burn therein. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
