Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
