Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 With difficulty is surely ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
