Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
