3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire' 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
