Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 to those who make display 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
