The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1

All praise unto Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 2 The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace, 3 Owner of the Day of Recompense. 4 (Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance 5 Guide us to the Straight Path, 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
