It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say: "What! when we die and become dust and bones, could we really be raised up again? 82 We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
