And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night.
