The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens and that which comes in the night -- 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 The star of piercing brightness; 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 Let the human reflect of what he is created. 5 He was created of a gushing fluid, 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 On the Day when man's deepest secrets shall be put to the test 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 and by the earth bursting with vegetation; 12 BEHOLD, this [divine writ] is indeed a word that distinguishes between truth and falsehood, 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 They are hatching up a plot, 15 And I (too) am planning a plan. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
