"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
